IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023 Schedule Finalized By PCB & BCCI; According to a spokesperson from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the Indian cricket team has made the decision not to tour Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023 matches. Therefore, Pakistan vs India Asia Cup 2023 Match will be held at Dambulla, Sri Lanka. The BCCI official made this announcement on Wednesday.

The Press Trust of India has confirmed the finalized schedule for this year’s Asia Cup in Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The tournament, which will be played in the 50-over format, is set to take place from August 31 to September 17. The official schedule will be released this Friday. The Asian Cricket Council has adopted a hybrid model for the tournament, starting with the first four matches in Pakistan and the remaining matches in Sri Lanka.

The highly anticipated India versus Pakistan match will be held in Dambulla, Sri Lanka. Pakistan’s only home match is likely to be against Nepal and is expected to be hosted in Lahore. The other three matches in Pakistan will feature Afghanistan against Bangladesh, Bangladesh against Sri Lanka, and Sri Lanka against Afghanistan.

The schedule was finalized during a meeting between Zaka Ashraf, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee, and Jay Shah, the secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). This meeting took place on Tuesday during the chief executives’ committee (CEC) meeting of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) annual session in Durban, South Africa.

Arun Dhumal, the current chairman of the Indian Premier League, confirmed the schedule, stating, “Our secretary met PCB head Zaka Ashraf, and we finalized the Asia Cup schedule as discussed earlier. The tournament will include four league-stage games in Pakistan, followed by nine games in Sri Lanka, including the highly anticipated India versus Pakistan match. Additionally, if both teams make it to the final, a third game will be played.”

The participating teams, including India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal, will compete in a total of 13 ODI matches. These teams have been divided into two groups: Group A comprises Pakistan, India, and Nepal, while Group B consists of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
